BPI stands for Banco Português de Investimento, and is the ESN PORTUGAL partner bank for the year of 2011/2012.

How to open a BPI bank account:

1. Go to BPI on Largo da Portagem nº 22/26 (Downtown area) or Rua Jorge Anjinho, Urb. Casal da Eira 3030 - 482 Coimbra (Close to Dolce Vita Shopping Center)
2. Tell the bank employee you are looking for a “NON RESIDENT BANK ACCOUNT”. The form exists in English, French or German language;
3. In order to access all the advantages it is extremely important that the bank employee is aware that you are looking for the “BPI PROTOCOL NUMBER 2577”;
4. Inform the bank you want to receive bank letters in Portugal, and provide the bank with the document stating your current address in Portugal and valid ID/passport ;
