Transportation

When getting around in Coimbra it is always possible to go for a walk, as there are safe cobbled pavements everywhere. Also, there is an urban bus connection (in the town) and it is easy to catch a bus to go to different parts of town. You can also use a bicycle but there are no designated cycle tracks and Coimbra is a city with quite a few steep roads which may make cycling complicated. The city bus is the only way of commute within the city; they run every 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the bus you take (except at weekends and bank holidays).

Pre-bought tickets:
3 Trips - 2,20€ || 11 Trips - 6,40€ || 1 Day ticket - 3,50€ Ticket on-board: 1,6€ (Valid only for that route on the bus you bought the ticket) Monthly ticket: 35€ || Student monthly ticket: 23€ || Special Sub23 Student monthly ticket: 22€
